Mark Robins is a former professional footballer and current football manager. He is currently the manager of Coventry City.
As a player, Robins was a forward. He started his career at Manchester United, where he is perhaps most fondly remembered for scoring crucial goals in the 1989–90 FA Cup run which is often credited with saving Alex Ferguson's job. He also played for Norwich City, Leicester City, and several other clubs.
As a manager, Robins has managed several clubs, including Rotherham United, Barnsley, and Huddersfield Town, before starting his first stint with Coventry City. He has been credited with revitalizing Coventry City, leading them from League Two to the Championship. He is known for his tactical acumen and ability to develop young players. He is considered one of the best managers in the English Football League.
